Ananya Grover, from New Delhi, India, is an aspiring women's health entrepreneur by day, and a writer by night. She recently graduated with a Computer Science degree from Princeton University, where her poetry thesis on loss and separation received the 2024 James Richardson Award. The prize is awarded to a student whose poetry speaks to the spirit of Professor Richardson's legendary course entitled “Life Is Short, Art is Really Short.” Through her work, she explores her identity as a descendent of Punjabi/Multani refugees from the Partition of India and navigates her dad's sudden passing.
