Tonya Cunningham

Negative Space

          1962

I slash out at you in black and white.

You are as dry as toast.

Our telephone rings for

*based on untitled paintings by Elsa Thoresen 1960-1980

Tonya Cunningham lives in Lake Forest Park, WA where she teaches at a Waldorf preschool and enjoys wandering the PNW beaches. She most recently published two poems in the Ekphrastic Review.
